Autocar - First for car news and reviews

Hi,

 I've been searching the net for info on Peugeot 309 Gti track cars.

From What I have read it seems Autocar did a feature in July/August 2004 where they coverted one for under a thousand pounds.

Would anyone have any information on the car in question, or access to the feature?

They've still got it and drips of information keep coming through in the magazine.  Steve Cropley did a hill climb in it recently but as for proper reports, very little information.

Hopefully one of the staffers will read your thread and be able to shed some light.

The car is alive and well, having set some very competitive times at our visit to the Prescott hillclimb a few months ago. It won't be doing too much over the winter, but it will feature in future stories on the website and in the mag.
