Precious little information on what actually happened.

I just hope this doesn't start the whole Top Gear is dangerous debate again, especially if this occurred on public roads.  Let's face it, accidents are part of motoring and all we can hope is that no one gets hurt.

It probably will, after all it's not really news-worthy unless the link is made between Clarkson - Top Gear - excessive speed - dangerous.

The news report is from the Mirror - so who knows what actually happened, it may have been a bump at 5mph in a milk float.

    Case in point:

    Mirror:
In 2006, his co-host Richard Hammond survived a 315mph crash, also while filming.

If they spent more than 20 seconds researching the article they'd know hammond was doing less than 300 mph.

According to the Mirror, Clarkson had a "miraculous" escape. It can't have been too too serious seeing as he's just been seen riding a Vespa!!!
