I cannot agree more with the above statements. I have supported McLaren my whole (admittedly short) life, and have believed that Formula One was the pinnacle of motorsport, and alongside Football at the pinnacle of all sports.
I now find it hard to believe how disgracefully biased this sport has become. The FIA may have done many beneficial things in the past to make motorsport safer, but right now it is turning F1 from a sport to a farce. I find it hard to believe he got a penalty for this in the first place, let alone 25seconds where he may have gained a tenth or two at most. Had he crashed into Raikkonen he would probably have got dropped back on the grid for the next race.
What should he have done? Exactly what he did.
What would FIA like to have seen him done? Give Massa 2nd place, undeservedly.
Truth is, Raikkonen couldn't handle the conditions (and i do think he's an amazing driver, one of my favourites on the grid) in his Ferrari and Hamilton had already been pushed off the track by Raikkonen.
Jus when F1 was recovering from Spygate and Mosley's hanky panky and finally being recognised as acceptable again. FIA have to go and ruin it again, and pull the dark cloud back over Formula One. It's been a sad year for all involved.
