    Fiat has won a court order against Chinese manufacturer Great Wall Motors, preventing it from importing its GWPeri minicar into Europe on the grounds that is too similar to the Fiat Panda.

    Fiat brought the case against Great Wall after claiming that the GWPeri is an almost exact copy of the current Fiat Panda. Although the Chinese car wears a different front end, it looks nearly identical to the Fiat, both outside and inside the cabin.

    Veeery interesting. Australia / New Zealand's Fiat/Ferrari/Maserati distributors have just recently taken on board the Great wall brand as well...This may throw a spanner in the works! oops

    While i think that copies are not a good idea, does any one else think that the great wall car looks much better from the from than the panda? that interior is pretty much identical

    Front actually looks like a cross between the Nissan Note and the old Mitsubishi Outlander.

    As for the JMC Landwind being "liberally inspired by the old Vauxhall/ Opel Frontera": well, if you're stupid enough to copy that, you deserve to be pitied rather than fined!
