  • First look: Peugeot 308 CC

This is the new Peugeot 308 CC, which takes the French firm’s family hatch and installs a folding metal roof.
However, in place of the regular 308’s rear bench seat, the 308 CC gets two individual, full-size seats. Its electric retracting hard-top folds into the boot in 20 seconds.
Highlights include a new Euro 5-compliant 140bhp diesel unit that will join the engines from the standard 308 range, plus a boot that improves on the old 307 CC by a decent 115 litres, with a 465-litre maximum c...Read the full article

I agree the styling is at least moving in the right direction.  I think the car looks best when viewed from behind or the rear 3/4 view.  The interior looks classy and substantial indeed and those seats look pretty hefty.  This has been a winning formula for Peugeot and I would expect the 308CC to strengthen Peugeot's success.

I would say a very important factor which has played against many new Pugs has been weight and I am curious to see what the 308 CC weighs.
