Gordon Murray, legendary designer of the McLaren F1 supercar, has been presented with an award for his outstanding achievement in engineering by Durban University of Technology in South Africa.

Don't be so obtuse! He is not Brittish, so don't desperately clutch at a false link tthat does not exist. You would not accept Americans taking credit for an Englishman living there as they adopted him. Absolute !£$%&"£!

It doesn't matter where he comes from, its nice to see recognition for outstanding work, and work in what is increasingly being seen as a "bad, unenvironmental" industry.
