New Mercedes Convertible To Replace CLK?

    May 21, 2008 4:17 PM

Was in a merc dealership the other day, and it was mentioned that a new cabriolet is coming out to replace the CLK next year, it would have a totally new shape, new name, new design, and so on. Can anyone shed anymore light on this ... I heard about plans for an S-class 4-door convertible, but not about something to replace the clk.

I'm interested in a 350 or 500 clk cabriolet but worried about residual values if a totally new replacement is coming out next year.

I bought a new CLK last September and was told that there would be a new one in late 2009. Having watched the motoring press since then it seems to confirm this.
