Autocar - First for car news and reviews

512TR is actually my favourite. If I thought I could afford engine out services, I'd buy one straight away. I could run to the purchase price but would get so fed up with the running costs. One day. I might just have to do it for a couple of years.

 I saw one of these on the track at the Scottish Motor Show/Knockhill motorfair a week ago on Sunday.

Unfortunately none of the pics I got of it were up to scratch or I would've posted one or two.

Apparently they are a pig to drive but they look so good.

I loved Miami Vice so much as a kid that a mate and I got some hair-gel, espadrilles and replica guns (I was about 11). I managed to get a loan of a MV-style coat once too.

512 TR or even an M is a far better car than a testarossa certainly; just don't buy an actual testarossa; if you have hankered after one it is better to imagine how well it drives than find out the reality!
