  • Reds leave London

    May 04, 2008 11:57 PM

It was close but the Marxist-Lennonists, well Red Ken, have finally been kicked out of London office (Yippee:). What will Tory and new London major Boris Johnson do to the Con-Zone scheme?

Boris has at least said he won't extend the scam into West London but will he be brave enough to dismantle this shambolic scam that extorts £200M a year from motorists wallets without achieving any of its stated targets?

Boris has also stated he'd increase the length green traffic lights stay on to increase flow (why not just dismantle them too!). And Boris also stated the £25 charge was too high. So where does that leave the Porsche Judicial Review in June?

Here's an idea Cockstar - you let people comment on this thread without resorting to slagging them off if they happen to disagree with your political agenda.

    I bet you can't...........

Can you please provide a topical opinion on Red Ken getting his just deserts so I can disagree with you....  it gets very tedious just swapping opinions about personality, not that it ever stops you tiring of that particular endlessly fascinating topic - in training as a physco-analyst are you!

It's getting tedious that all we hear is you on your lobbying platform.

So, it seems to me, with your confrontational style of debate, that the only way to fight fire is with fire. Grow up JJB - we're all big boys here - if you can dish it out then you've got to learn to take it.

I would suggest you read 'The Art of War'.......

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will fight without danger in battles.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

I now know how anyone challanging your opinion get's you riled - I know that you don't like arguments that contradict your dogma and I know the response this post will get from you.

As a consequence of that - I know you to be two dimensional and closed to anything that does not agree with your view.

And that's the fun of 'debating' with you.

Am I taking the p iss? Yep.

Scummy the forum is here for peoples opinions and JJ is expressing one. All you seem to do is slag all his posts off with abusive dribble.

Thanks scook2003 - spot on - it is for peoples opinions and if you'd care to read back throughout the posts in question - you'll find it works both ways.

Appreciate you taking the trouble to post though.

My problem is that I just dont listen. I think I know what I am talking about and that is enough for me. I was born with a thick skin that means that I feel I am always right. This entitles me to do what I like and generally to be a pain in the ass.

Scook - youre right. All I do is slag JJBoxster off. I have no opinions of my own. Or at least I do but I fear that my own thoughts and opinions will get shot down in flames as I am not confident of being able to argue my own case with the same vigour or in the same detail as others. You see....I'm scared really.

    Sorry for being a muppet.

    Discuss.

Don't apologise Scummyplums - you are what you are.

    I am not you thankfully.

This stalking lark (BB) is all a bit odd. No matter.

Boris Johnson dropping the £25 Congestion Charge

A spokesman for Transport for London (TfL) said it ‘wasn’t expecting to implement’ previous mayor Ken Livingstone’s proposed increases'.

Major Boris Johnson opposed the £25 charge, and the western expansion, in his campaign manifesto. Following his election Andy Goss, managing director of Porsche GB, said: ‘This election represents a rejection of extreme proposals like the unfair £25 tax on motorists that would actually increase CO2 emissions."
