I don't suppose the endless launches of SUV's and 4x4's and their market share proliferation and success in the sales charts (ie. popularity) has any impact on anti-car extremists like Ken 'Chelsea Tractor' Livingstone?
Is popularity amoung the civilian population a sign you should shut up and change your opinions or does it just make the monkey on their backs larger?
Like banning smoking, taxing CO2 and ranting about 4x4's it just makes the population 'propoganda-pissed' and actually hardens our resolve, not to mention make it 'sexier' and naughtier, to do what your told not to. I've actually got to the stage of wanting a large 4x4 just to stick as bigger object as possible up the noses of these ignorant interfering puritans.
I think the new BMW X6 is beginning to tug on my heart strings, calling me to the cause and looking ever sexier as these ranting idiots shout ever louder 'it's wrong, it's selfish'... quite frankly my dears, Up Yours, I don't give a damn.
