Motorshows have always been about more than cars, and after a morning of intensive press conferencing, the thoughts of hungry hacks turn to one thing.
Yes, lunch. Over the years considerable competition has developed as manufacturers attempt to out-do each other with the most memorable dishes – and often the most unusual combination of ‘fusion’ cuisine.
But the winner this year has to be Volvo, which has created a wrap featuring some fresh Swedish reindeer, carrots, artichokes and some kind of melted cheese.
Anyway, somewhat against expectations, it was delicious. Now, on with the show…
