Lexus twigged early on that, in North America at least, your big 4x4 requires minimal off-road ability and a whole lot of on-road refinement and comfort. And gizmos - like a camera in the tailgate so you can reverse without twisting your neck. It's a formula that works pretty well this side of the Pond too. Hybrid 400h faster and more frugal.
