Kia had a bright idea. Build a five-door city car that's cheaper to buy than just about every other new car but doesn't look as if it's fallen out of a Christmas cracker. Stuff it with loads of standard kit and make sure it goes and handles with nippiness and verve. Avoid obvious "cheap touches". That's the Picanto and we like it.
