The car the Dodge Viper evolved into, though 'evolved' might not be the right word. Many of the old flaws remain: rock-hard ride; unforgiving handling; heavy gearchange; a certain over-arching crudeness. But the best thing about the Viper is even better here: the 500bhp, V10 STR-10 is very, very fast in a straight line.
