Modern-enough looking supermini that's undemanding to drive and painless to own. True, the cheaper end of the class in which the Kalos competes isn't exactly on fire with new talent but, even so, the ex-Daewoo struggles to make a credible case for itself if "driving pleasure" appears anywhere in the job description.
