Aston Martin will add a fourth option, this year, for anyone who wants to go racing in one of its cars: meet the Aston Martin Vantage GT2 (pictured), a customer circuit competition car that will be introduced later in 2008.

The Vantage GT2 is based on the V8 Vantage road car. Designed to comply with FIA GT2 competition regulations, the Vantage GT2 means that, alongside the DBR9 (GT1), DBRS9 (GT3) and Vantage N24 (GT4), Gaydon will have an option for customers wishing to compete at every level of international sports car racing.

The Vantage GT2 is also designed to run on either standard race fuel or E85 bio-ethanol, which is being used in an increasing number of race series around the world, including the British Touring Car Championship and the American Le Mans Series.
